Wandsworth Town Hall wedding photographer, South London
I have photographed several weddings at Wandsworth Town Hall and across Wandsworth and Battersea over the years, so I know the area well and how weddings tend to run here. Wandsworth Town Hall itself is characterful and elegant venue, with ceremony rooms of various sizes and layouts. I know them each well, so I know how to position myself in each. That matters, especially when ceremonies are tightly scheduled and there’s not much room for error.
Outside the town hall, there are a few reliable spots for photos if time allows. The steps and surrounding streets work well for quick group shots and confetti, and if couples want to head a little further, there are quieter residential streets nearby that feel relaxed and unfussy. I’m used to working fast here, keeping things moving so guests aren’t left waiting and couples can get on with celebrating.
Beyond the town hall, I’ve photographed weddings and receptions at a range of venues around Wandsworth and Battersea, including Battersea Barge on the Thames, Battersea Arts Centre, the County Arms, and Le Gothique near Wandsworth Common. Each of these places has a very different feel - from the cosy charm of a pub wedding to the more theatrical spaces at Battersea Arts Centre, or the grand and secluded Le Gothique. Knowing how these venues work, where the light falls, and when things tend to happen makes a big difference on the day.
Below are a selection of full wedding galleries photographed at Wandsworth Town Hall and across Wandsworth and Battersea. They show complete wedding days rather than just highlights, so you can get a clear sense of how I document ceremonies, people, and the in-between moments that actually make the day feel like yours.
