Islington Town Hall wedding photographer

If you’re looking for an experienced Islington Town Hall wedding photographer, look no further! I have photographed well over 100 weddings there, and it remains the weddng venue I know better than any other. Over time, you build more than just familiarity - you understand how the light shifts through the day, where guests naturally gather, and how to move through the space without disrupting the ceremony.

I am highly experienced in photographing weddings in the Council Chamber, The Mayor's Parlour, The Richmond Suite and Room 99. Each room calls for a slightly different approach because of its size, layout and vantage points. The Council Chamber has a sense of scale and symmetry that works beautifully for wide frames. The Mayor's Parlour is more intimate, which means being precise about positioning and timing. The Richmond Suite offers flexibility in how guests are arranged, and Room 99 is compact, so you need to be thoughtful about movement and angles. Knowing these spaces well means I can focus on the people in front of me rather than working out logistics on the day.

That said, my experience as a North London wedding photographer goes beyond the Town Hall itself. I have also photographed Islington weddings and receptions at Coin Laundry, The Mildmay Club, The Depot, Canonbury Tavern, The Narrowboat, Tranga and the Duke of Cambridge. Each of these venues has its own character - from relaxed pub celebrations to more styled, restaurant-led receptions.

Below are some example full wedding galleries from ceremonies at the Town Hall, covering each of the main rooms, and other local wedding venues. Get in touch if you need an Islington photographer!
